A first successful trip to southern Africa!
Julie and Vincent put together a fantastic itinerary for us to explore Botswana and (a little bit of) Zimbabwe over three weeks, starting with the wide open spaces of the Kalahari Desert and Makgadikgadi Pans before heading up to the Hwange National Park, Victoria Falls, the Chobe River and ending the adventure in Moremi, in the Okavango Delta.
We saw oryx, elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos and more, and enjoyed seeking them out on our own, which is one of the real pleasures of a self-drive safari!
The sunsets and birdsong made a lasting impression on us throughout our journey through the bush. We enjoyed watching the large herds of zebras and buffaloes and the springboks jumping around! The boat and mokoro trips were unforgettable, very peaceful experiences, bringing us even closer to nature.
Travelling to Africa for a very first time, Tawana’s organisation and support (when needed) were reassuring, and we really appreciated the clarity of the travel documents! The camps and lodges chosen were very good, and the guidance in navigating the Delta floods was invaluable.
This trip offered us exceptional encounters every day. The change of scenery is everywhere, and magic awaits around every corner!
Thank you to Julie and Vincent for this superb organisation! If/when we return to the area, we will not hesitate to use your services again!
