In 2022, we went on a three-month trip to Southern Africa. Tawana Self Drive helped us choose the self-drive home/vehicle we needed to travel with our daughter and organized the end of our trip from Etosha to Botswana. In 2023, we are returning to Botswana, and Julie and Vincent are, of course, organizing our three-week stay.
We began our journey at the majestic Victoria Falls, a long-held dream…
We headed to Botswana for a self-drive trip along the Chobe River, complete with a private river cruise, where we had an amazing encounter with elephants!
We traveled to the Makgadikgadi region and the Ntwetwe Pan via the Lesoma Valley, where nighttime wildlife viewing was magical!
After visiting the meerkats, we set off for Nxai National Park, spending the night at Baines Baobab in the silence of the Kudiakam Pan, then self-driving in the South Camp section of Nxai. The days are very hot, but the nights are extraordinary with wildlife roaming around us! A childhood dream!
To end our trip, the Boteti River, the Khwai region, and Moremi offer a greener landscape that is rich in wildlife. The promise of surprising animal encounters.
A self-drive safari is a unique and incredible experience that allows you to travel at your own pace and take the time you want to observe this exceptional wilderness.
Julie and Vincent have planned our self-drive adventure, always attentive, responsive, and available. Their expert advice allowed us to travel with complete peace of mind.
Guilhem, Laetitia, little Mathilde, and Wild Dog!
