An extraordinary experience!
We are still reeling from our trip, and in a way, we are still enjoying it!
When everything is planned and perfectly organized, you have time to savor, explore, and even get lost (a little!) and, above all, keep an open mind and discover the places, people, and environments you encounter. So we made the most of this trip, and we are still savoring it.
The mix of campsites and lodges was perfect. The driving times were very manageable, allowing us to discover everything.
We ask ourselves these two questions from time to time: How can we rank the places and moments? Which place made the biggest impression on us? There is only one answer: Impossible.
Dozens of anecdotes, memories that will stay with us forever, and emotions rarely felt before this trip, particularly during the hot air balloon ride over the Namib Desert in the early morning, at Sossusvlei, breathtakingly beautiful at dawn, or at Spitzkoppe in the evening, alone in the world with a very friendly guide just for us, and then at Grootberg Lodge in the afternoon by the pool and the walk at sunset, a few magical encounters with wildlife, an exceptional night in Nambwa where we had to share our campsite with an elephant, Chobe of course, and Victoria Falls again. And what can we say about the sunset boat cruises, all with excellent service…
Of course, it’s not your fault, but beyond your flawless organization, the weather was also perfect. Not too hot, not too cold, no rain, no fog (even in Walvis Bay!), no wind.
In short, we fell in love with Southern Africa. We would like to thank you once again and wish you many more projects. Perhaps we will be part of them again?
