Three weeks in a nutshell… First, there were the ghosts of the Kalahari. A brown hyena and a leopard, glimpsed on the trail, then disappearing immediately into the tall grass. Fleeting encounters, all the more precious for that, followed by the teeming life of Chobe Park, as magnificent as ever. Then the joy of spotting a group of lions near the Mudumu waterhole and enjoying the lovely Nambwa campsite. Finally, the sublime Victoria Falls and Hwange Park, a refuge for elephants, ending in a grand finale at the incredible Kapula platform.

After several safaris, there are still first-time experiences and many emotional moments: herds of roan antelope and red hartebeest, the cries of hyenas in the Ihaha campsite followed by a muffled growl that leaves so much to the imagination, the gathering of elephants at the various watering holes in Hwange (Nyamandhlovu, Jambile, Manga 3…) simply fabulous.

So a big thank you to Julie and Vincent for helping, advising, and guiding us in organizing and carrying out this trip, not to mention the tourism and park professionals who were always so welcoming.
