Our 14-day self-drive safari was simply incredible.
After receiving all the necessary explanations from the vehicle rental company, we set off on the trails. A few difficult stretches on the way to Third Bridge did not dampen our spirits, and we were captivated from the moment we encountered the first animals.
Sleeping in camps with animals roaming around and mysterious noises in the night is an incredible experience. We were amazed by the changing landscapes as we travelled. From the forests of Kwhai to the plains of Savuti, from the Chobe River to the Nxai Pans and Baines Baobab.
We had wonderful encounters with animals everywhere we went, and the lionesses of Nxai Pan and the elephants at sunset in Khwai will remain our fondest memories.
Our itinerary was perfectly planned by Tawana. Thank you to Julie and Vincent for their good advice, their availability and the welcome in Maun.
I will be back!
