Nous avons rencontré Julie et Vincent en 2021 par hasard à Maun dans un restaurant, après notre premier périple dans l’Okavango.

We met Julie and Vincent by chance in Maun in a restaurant in 2021, after our first trip to the Okavango.

While chatting, we told them about a website where we had found lots of information, and they told us that it was their agency, Tawana Self Drive.

We stayed in touch, and in 2022 we planned a tour of Botswana: a short loop through the Okavango, the Boteti River, the Central Kalahari, and finally the KTP.

Thanks to their knowledge of the area, they refined our travel plans and, based on our tastes, advised us against a few places in favor of others that were more interesting.

They took care of all the reservations, which is no small feat, kept an eye out for a few particularly popular sites, and even managed to get us a night at Bitterpan, a beautiful place!

Julie and Vincent also took care of the vehicle reservation and were very helpful over the phone when we had a few mechanical issues.

We particularly enjoyed having dinner with them one evening when we returned from Okavango and benefited from their many tips.

We recommend their agency and their website. We liked the customized documentation for our trip, which was very precise about distances, travel times (very important for this type of journey), and their favorite places.

In short, we highly recommend Julie and Vincent for their professionalism and responsiveness.

We will definitely call on their expertise for our next trip!
