Our self drive experience was unique! Botswana is an exceptional country where you can travel independently.

We had planned our route in advance and thanks to Vincent’s validation, we were confident.

We left Kasane and on the first day we went to Chobe Park where we had the time to get our hands on the vehicle! Following the river, we saw magnificent wild animals.

The Moremi Park was a great discovery where we had the chance to meet a leopard and his baby crossing the road in front of us :) Sleeping in the middle of this park was an exciting experience and in the morning, we saw a pride of lions eating a buffalo they just killed.

We enjoyed the Okavango area and we recommend taking a mokoro ride to be at the same height as the crocodile. We laugh less 😜

Passing through the Caprivi Strip, we met an aardvark looking for insects. Memorable !!!

This experience will remain etched in our hearts and memories as a beautiful breeze from the end of the world with a vehicle all options included. Even the beds are generous in width and the mattresses pleasant … Be aware that the nights can be cold in winter (5 degrees) and we were happy to have our own high quality duvet!

Thanks to Vincent and Julie … and see you soon!
