Self-drive is the best way to visit Botswana, allowing you to get close to nature in a calm and intimate way. It offers great flexibility and a sense of pride when discovering animals, which requires a sense of analysis and intuition. How exciting it was to find them without being passively led to them!

We felt like new explorers on the deep sand tracks and when we got stuck, which is almost commonplace… You have to be a bit of an adventurer to live in total autonomy in the middle of the wilderness…
