Julie is great to assist you for this kind of adventure, giving very valuable information. The patience of Vincent is also perfect to learn everything about driving a 4×4, managing the roof tent, and not forgetting driving on the left.

The Prado is very functional and super fun to drive!

So, for those who still hesitate, I highly recommend Tawana Self Drive as an excellent and trustable company.

About itinerary, I would really suggest to go further than the standard Moremi and Chobe and discover the southern Botswana with the Kalahari Desert, which is full of wildlife in an amazing landscape and the Tuli Block area, which is really wild and beautiful. About campsites, my highlight is definitively the very nice Planet Baobab, I’ve just loved it!
