We really enjoyed being part of our trip, looking for the animals ourselves and being totally independent in a beautiful, wild and unspoilt nature, as well as the sense of adventure that is released.

Botswana wildlife has kept all its promises. We were surprised and impressed to watch the animals so close, they are not afraid at all! We have seen all the major predators but they are sometimes very difficult to find and almost always napping, probably because of the heat. Only the lions were not shy since we saw 6 times! We do not regret having done the guided game drive at Khwai Guest House as we spotted a leopard and hyenas. It is therefore particularly interesting to be guided sometimes, not to mention that it also allows to have some explanations … :)

We did not experience any major problems with the 4×4 which, thanks to its power, allowed us to go wherever we dared to venture. We never got stuck, and we had to deflate the tires just once between Ntwetwe Pan and Khumaga.

We were amazed and delighted by everything we saw and experienced. And it’s partly thanks to you, we thank you for your services, your availability and your kindness.

The return to reality has been a little rough, but our journey is still present in our memories and Botswana, its animals and landscapes, as well as self-drive, have even started to miss us! :) We will come back to southern Africa to renew the experience.
