These few images serve as reminders of the night spent by the water in Ngepi, where hippos set the pace for our wake-up calls; the plains of Chobe, with their concentration of hundreds of elephants; the charm of the Khwai landscapes; the migration of zebra herds in Boteti; and the tranquility of Nxai and its thousand-year-old baobab trees.
But also all the pleasant surprises: the kindness of Patrick, our host on our first night; the lions that lay down gently by the side of the road because we are so bad at finding them; the birds, each more colorful than the last; the guides who share their knowledge with humor and kindness, especially Modjo in Kasane; and, of course, the elephants that punctuated our stops in the car and our heart rates in the camps!
We leave moved and with our heads filled with memories.
