We had an incredible experience visiting 5 national parks in Botswana: Moremi, Chobe, Nxai Pan, Makgadikgadi Pan and the Central Kalahari Reserve.
Travelling 17 days with 2 boys aged 14 and 16, we had the adventure of a lifetime camping in the parks amidst the African wilderness. We could not have organized this trip without the help of Tawana Self Drive and highly recommend their service to help you plan your route. Everything was well organized and they patiently answered any questions we had, as this was our first trip to Africa.
We’ve been to many parts of the world, including Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Vanuatu, Costa Rica, Belize, Panama and the USA, but nothing compares to the trip we experienced. Voted the best trip by the whole family, we highly recommend crossing Botswana’s national parks to experience unforgettable encounters with Africa’s wild animals (we saw over 70 species in all!) and with the country’s friendly locals.
We’ve captured our experience in a video that describes our incredible journey.
Thank you Julie and Vincent for making our dream come true!
