An unforgettable first self-drive experience!

We have just returned from a two week trip to Botswana and Victoria Falls, and we would like to thank Vincent and Julie for their assistance in planning this trip. We greatly appreciated their availability and all the precious advice.

We had no problem with either the campsite bookings or the rental vehicle. We were even given an upgrade to a beautiful Toyota Land Cruiser, what a nice surprise!

We spent 10 days between Kasane and Maun, enjoying the sand of Savuti and the muddy roads of the Okavongo Delta (thanks to the rain), in a total immersion in the heart of the parks where you feel like you are alone in the world.

A total disconnection (ideal during the Covid period), a unique feeling of freedom, unforgettable memories and surprising encounters. Who would have thought one day to come across a lion devouring an elephant? We had the chance to meet several lion prides, huge herds of elephants, and to spend an unforgettable moment around a magnificent leopard.

A few scares when we saw the fuel gauge running low or when we got too deep into the sand or mud, but no real difficulties and in the end, we only have one thing in mind: to go back as soon as possible!
