An unforgettable self-drive safari in Botswana with Tawana Self Drive, organised with passion by Vincent and Julie.
Over the 15 days, we traveled nearly 2,000 km through wild and breathtaking landscapes, behind the wheel of an excellent 4×4 equipped with a camper unit perfectly suited for adventure.
Every day brought its own share of excitement and discoveries: exceptional wildlife, magnificent tracks and incredible encounters with Botswana’s iconic animals. Lions, giraffes, hippos, antelopes of all kinds… and countless elephants observed in their natural habitat, which never failed to surprise us time and again.
The most magical moment was undoubtedly our stay at Magotho Camp, where elephants came to visit us during breakfast. It was a unique, intense, and fully immersive experience, bringing us as close as possible to Africa’s wild nature.
This trip will remain forever etched in our memories as an extraordinary adventure, blending freedom, a change of scenery, and constant wonder. A huge thank you to Vincent and Julie for their impeccable organization, their invaluable advice, and their infectious passion for Botswana.
